Rifle is a top-lever. boxlock ejector gun with 28″ barrels carrying a leaf and ladder rear sight and a ramped rib front sight. Barrels have a “dolls-head” locking extension to them and are marked “John Rigby & Co. 72 St. James’s St London and at Dublin”. Gun is proofed for 38grs. of Rifleite. Rigby serial number 6492. later WR number applied under the fore-end. Greener type side safety to stock. Rifle has been professionally restocked with high grade walnut and has a solid red Silver’s recoil pad fitted to the butt. Supplied in a hard canvas and leather case with a Rigby trade label. charge sheet and oil bottle. Barrels in excellent condition. Rifle has had load development and regulation done by Otto Planyavski. test data accompanies the rifle. Very good refinished condition. Very good bore.
