Rifle has a 35″ octagonal barrel with a fine windage adjustable rear sight graduated to 1800mm. and a shrouded foresight with a fine windage adjustable foresight. Rifle is on an Oberndorf Mauser sporting action. pre-1924. which is marked “Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf a/N”. “Krupp Stahl” marked barrel. Stock has a schnabel tip. fore-end wedge. “Afrika” style side-panels. semi-rounded pistol grip. cheekpiece. horn buttplate and carries an escutcheon oval to the bottom of the stock. Fairly good original condition overall. Fair bore.
