100-D05-167 .455 Webley MK1 4″ Service Revolver
First produced in 1888, the MK1 was accepted as the standard British military revolver on 18th July 1887. This model was replaced by the MK2 revolver on 1st October 1894. Example is in good original condition with British military acceptance stamps to frame and deleted unit markings to backstrap which include “R.H.A” for Royal Horse Artillery and “F.A.” markings. C.W.L to side of frame. Grips are not chipped which is unusual on the Webley service revolvers. (Start Bid : R6500 Hi Estimate: R11500)
