089-F05-658 .44 Winchester Model 1866 “Yellowboy” Sporting Rifle Pre-1898

Third model manufactured 1873. The Model 66 was produced from 1866 to 1898 with a total production of 170 000 rifles. Octagonal 24″ (609,6mm) barrel, straight grip, crescent brass buttplate and walnut straight grip butt and fore-end. Rifle is complete and in particularly good professionally refinished condition with sharp edges, crisp markings and no undersizing to varnished wood finish.
