Right hand side of receiver is marked “Cogswell & Harrison 226 Strand London”. Leaf & ladder rear sight to 28″ barrel, wrap-around chequering to fore-end & pistol grip type wrist. Rifle has had a protective varnish type finish applied to it and is in good original condition with metal work having a dark plum brown finish.
