085A-F05-019-.450/577 Martini Henry Sporting Rifle By Braendlin Armoury Co.
Ovoid form 32″ barrel with target type windage adjustable fore sight and tangent type rear sight. Wrap-around chequering to both fore-end and wrist. Barrel is neatly marked in gold inlay to “Gert Venter Craddock No. 136”, no doubt a dealer at the time. Border scroll engraving to sides of action. Faded brown finish to barrel, very little original finish to action which has Braendlin trademark & “Martini’s Patent” to it with some scroll engraving to the borders. Fair to good overall. Good bore.
