.450web Tranter patent, original no 4266. “GK Lewis 32 & 33 lower Loveday St Birmingham” engraved on top octagonal 6″ (152mm) barrel, chequered wooden one-piece grips with lanyard ring to butt of revolver. Revolver possibly reblued a long time ago. Missing ejector rod on right side of barrel. Including original holster, holster marked “Saml. Cronwright Saddler Grahamstown” indicating that this revolver quite possibly saw use in the Frontier wars.
