Complete with issue Trilux optical sight. Very scarce first model variant. All of those in British service have been upgraded to current L85A3 status. First adopted in 1987, their were a number of teething problems encountered with it and the SLR L1A1 was regarded as a more functional rifle. Barrel length of 20,4″. The rifle reputedly came out of Mozambique where it was in the hands of British SAS troops guarding the Cabora Bassa dam/generating plant from attacks by Renamo rebels. Good bore, good original condition.
