078A-C052 – Japanese Model 1897 Type 30 Arisaka – Hirari Seiki
Manufactured by Hirari Seiki and commonly known as the Tokyo Hourglass. This is the earliest of Type 30 series with a flat bird’s head pommel, hook type cross guard and contour wrap around grips secured by rivets. Bright fullered blade of 395mm, includes leather frog and is equipped with a steel scabbard. Good condition.
