101-F05-458 .303 “long Lee” L.E.1 Service Rifle By Enfield 1897

Rifle has front and rear volley sights plus post-boer war sight upgrade. Butt socket marked “Crown V.R. Enfield 1897 L.E. 1”. Metalwork in good original condition, stock displays some stains to the wood. There is an area of light pitting to the exterior of the barrel just ahead of the front barrel band. Fairly good overall condition.
