101-F05-457 .450/.577 Martini Henry “Long Lever” MKIV Service Rifle By Enfield 1887

Right side of receiver is marked “Crown V.R. Enfield 1887 IV 1”. Built for use in hot climates, the MKIV features a longer lever for improved extraction in hot climates. Fore-end has been “circumcised” and rifle dispalys some undersizing to wood on butt/socket join. Small chip to bottom of butt. Fairly good overall.
