“Crown V.R. Enfield 1892 11” markings to butt socket, military acceptance/inspection stamps to receiver, long tang to brass buttplate. This model was approved 12th April 1892 and is obviously from the first year of production. Rifle is complete with front and rear volley sights and open sights are still in the correct pre-Boer war configuration. Good original condition, fair bore. Scarce.
