100-F05-422 .577/450 Martini-Henry “ZAR” Service Rifle By Westley Richards

As issued to Boer forces in the Anglo-Boer war. Manufactured in 1898 and marked “Made Specially For ZAR” with “Westley Richards” to opposite side of receiver. Rifle still retains a good percentage of original finish, butt has the initials “E.A.B” let into the side of the stock with small brass tacks. Woodwork has been refinished. Good overall condition.
