In original mahogany case with accessories. Octagonal 6″ (152,40mm) sighted barrel engraved with a band of foliage at the muzzle and signed “Improved Patent” on the sighting flat, border and scroll engraved top-strap and frame, border engraved cylinder, chequered walnut butt, border engraved butt-cap, border and scroll engraved trigger-guard and Reeves’ patent rammer (some light discolouration throughout). Birmingham proof marks, in lined and fitted mahogany case. Accessories include: brass double cavity bullet mould, brass mounted copper Hawksley pistol flask, a japanned bullet tin, and japanned tin with label marked “Chas. Reeves” patent lubricating composition, the exterior of case with circular brass escutcheon. (Start Bid : R65000 Hi Estimate: R75000)
