This is no doubt an ex-service rifle that has been converted to .303 caliber by the “Field Rifle Co. Birmingham”. Barrel length of 29″ (736.6mm), fore-end has been “circumcised” and a cavalry type nose-cap fitted to the stock. “Field Rifle Co.” markings to butt and barrel. Silver grey colour overall.
