Stippled top to receiver which has been drilled & tapped for scope use and swept
bolt handle fitted. Barrel marked to “Holland & Holland 98 New Bond Street
London” with London proof marks to knox form. Magnum type sloped magazine
box with steel floor plate. Serial no. 59X to trigger guard & receiver. Classic English
styled stock with wrap-around chequering to fore-end & wrist, shadow-line cheek
piece and Silvers recoil pad to stock of superior grade walnut. Stock has had a
tasteful extension added to it to give a total L.O.P. of 15″. Take-down type stock,
steel grip cap with trap to grip. Good bore, rifle in good professionally refinished
condition.
