104-F06-500 8mm Steyr -Gueddes “Boer” Service Rifle
Action marked “M/1885 Steyr 1886 & CE W.G”. Fore-end has been shortened as was common practise with Boer service rifles but bayonet lug and nosecap have been retained. Silver grey finish overall to metalwork, butt in good original condition which is in good original condition which is unusual, the Gueddes was prone to breaking the stock across the grip area. Relatively good bore.
