103-F04-288-.404jeff Mauser A-Type Rifle
Built by Mauser-Werke Oberndorf 1936-37 on a single square bridge, solid side wall magnum action. Matching numbers to all components, five leaf rear sight, banded swivel and ramp foresight to 24″ (609,60mm) barrel. Dark fore-end tip and grip caps, wrap-around chequering to fore-end pistol grip wrist. Cheekpiece and solid red Silvers recoil pad to well figured walnut stock. All in very good refinished condition. If one looks closely at the receiver, one can see that scope mounting holes have been closed up.
