100-F04-291 9.3x62mm Mauser “Afrika” Rifle – Scoped

Original Oberndorf Mauser Afrika model bolt-action rifle with single square-bridge action and very rare factory-fitted Hensoldt Wetzlar Dialytan 4x telescope in Mauser factory quick-release mounts. Rare caliber marking of “9.3×62 Magnum” on barrel. In excellent condition with matching numbers throughout. Matching numbers also on the three-quarter length stock and the telescope mount rings. Rifle is marked “Mauser-Werke Oberndorf A/N” on left hand side of action and has round 700mm barrel, single trigger, pushbutton magazine release inside trigger guard and BUGN proof marks. Rifle is original and unaltered, metalwork has been professionally rust blued to the original Mauser style. Manufactured around 1935. Telescope still has excellent optics, bore is excellent. Mauser Afrika models with factory-fitted telescopes are extremely rare. (Start Bid : R50000 Hi Estimate: R75000)
