100-F04-270 .30-06sprg Musgrave “Vrystaat MK4” Rifle

Manufactured 1975-1979. As a result of the intensifying S.A. border war, LEW could no longer supply actions to Musgrave and they had to look to other sources. S.A. had good relations with Spain so they settled on the Santa Barbara solid sidewall commercial Mauser M98 action with trigger safety, adjustable trigger and hinged magazine floorplate. The MK4 model has a monte-carlo styled stock with ventilated recoil pad, 24″ (610mm) barrel with open sights and plastic grip cap. The rear sight blade has been removed from this rifle to facilitate scope mounting. Rifle is in good overall condition including bore. (Start Bid : R7500 Hi Estimate: R9500)
