In brass cornered leather case with “William Powell & Son” plus charge label no.2 of a pair of guns. Nitro-proofed Damscus 28″ (711,20mm) barrels marked to “William Powell & Son, 35, Carrs Lane, Birmingham”. “No.2″ marking to breech area. Very good bores. Shotgun is supplied with two stocks, the original which has a 14,5″ L.O.P and a very well-figured professional replacement which has a long 16” L.O.P which the present owner required. Action has a colour case-hardened finish and features extensive scroll engraving. Accessories include a set of snap-caps, “William Powell” marked oil bottle and two leather cleaning kit holders.
