100-D02-118 9mmp Luger P-08 Service Pistol 1936 S/42

Original WWII military P-08 Luger pistol in 9mm Para caliber manufactured by Mauser Oberndorf in 1936. Marked “1936” on chamber and “S/42” on toggle signifying Mauser manufacture. This model is known as the “1936 S/42” variant amongst collectors. Matching numbers throughout on the pistol, including the small parts even down to the firing pin and grips, only the magazine with correct aluminium base has a non-matching number. Pistol is 100% original and in excellent overall condition. Blueing excellent with more than 95% remaining and with light wear only on edges. Chequered wooden grips are also excellent. Correct German military proof marks on pistol. Correct straw coloured finish to the trigger, safety, mag catch, takedown lever, ejector, etc. (Start Bid : R10000 Hi Estimate: R13500)
