094-319-.50cal Spencer Repeating Model 1865 Carbine
Made by “Spencer Repeating Rifle Company Boston Massachussetts” as marked on top of receiver. Seven round magazine capacity in the butt. Serial number 9280. “M1865″ to breech of barrel open sights to 20” (508mm) barrel, sling bar and swivel to left hand side, sling swivel to underside of butt. Made 1865-66. Rifle has the “Stabler cut-off” fitted forward of the trigger which to allow for use as a single shot. Good condition including bore.
