This musket is a conversion of the Brown Bess flintlock to percussion firing and is also known as the Patt. 1839 Musket 2nd type. The Lovell’s pattern bayonet catch has been removed. This was cheaper version of the Patt. 1839 musket. Fairly good condition. Bore fair condition.
