089-D02-368 .38s&w Webley & Scott MK 3 4″ Revolver
In May 1940 the British war office purchased 300 commercial MKIII revolvers with 4″ (101,6mm) Barrels, the small Pocket Model frame and oversized wooden no 4 butt (Grip). They were marked “War Finish” and inspected and stamped by the RSAF Enfield. This is one of that Purchase. In perfect mechanical condition and with excellent butt, it does not seem to have been fired very much, but the finish has mostly gone.
