089-D02-356 .455 Webley-Fosberry 6″ Revolver

First launched in 1901, the Fosberry was likely the most succesful semi-auto revolving handgun. A very early model. Serial number 31. A relatively simple recoil operated mechanism with ease of reloading, the Fosberry features a 6″ (152,4mm) barrel, chequered wooden grips and lanyard ring to the butt. It was not an official issue but as an alternative many were purchased and used by officers in WW1.
