089-D02-354 .476 Enfield Webley “WG” Model 1889 6″ Revolver – Pre-1888
The model 1889 was the second version of the “WG” (Webley Goverment, not Webley Green), of which some 2000 were made. the model retained the “church Steeple” cylinder flutes of the 1886 first model, but had a simplified cylinder retaining screw. This specimen is in very good mechanical condition with an excellent bore, tight lock-up and intact vulcanite stock sides. however, there is a fair amount of loss to finish on the left-hand side.
