Rifle has a “Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf” action with a “Suhl Krupp steel” Manufactured 1905. Rifle has a windage adjustable tunnel foresight, barrel swivel and windage adjustable rear sight marked to 1800m fitted to octagonal 34,5″ (876mm) barrel which bears “Krupp
Steel” markings. Single trigger and knurling to receiver ring. Stock has a schnabel tip fore-end, “Afrika” panels below action, semi-pistol grip with two panel chequering to wrist cheekpiece and horn type plate to butt. Expected wear to bore. Some grey carrying wear to finish to blued finish around action and knox form area. As well as some termite damage to horn butt plate. Fair bore.
