Damascus barrels of 29,5″ (742mm) marked to “John Hayton Grahamstown 6235”. Wooden ramrod with brass tip, scroll engraved locks, hammers, trigger guard and upper tang. Locks are marked to “J. Hayton” and are engraved with bird scenes on either side. Stock of rather well figured walnut, has chequering to both wrist and grip with a L.O.P. of 14″ over a steel butt plate with German silver escutcheon plate. All in good to good plus original condition.
