Davidson was a London gunmaker who operated from 1790-1820. Full-stock to 34,9″ (886mm) octagonal to round barrel. Heavy stinkwood stock. Engraved lock is marked “Davidson”, barrel is “London” marked. Steel ramrod, brass triggerguard with double-set triggers and acorn finial to front of triggerguard. German silver plated brass buttplate with an extended tang. There is a repaired longitudinal crack immediately ahead of the the lock-plate. Good overall condition.
