In original oak case with “Kynoch” percussion cap tin, copper pistol powder flask, ebony loading mallet, German silver oil bottle, steel round ball mould, ebony cleaning rod and three sided turnscrew canvas pouch containing wads. Label of “Smith & Alden” to lid of case. Pistol has octagonal damascus browned barrel of 9,25″ (235mm) which is clearly marked to “T.Smith Maker To His Majesty Wm. 4th”. Engraved, colour case-hardened back action lockplate marked “London”. Intercepting safety to hammer, adjustable trigger and under-rib to barrel. Well figured walnut stock with chequered grip, German silver nosecap and ebony loading rod. All in good to good plus original condition.
