085A-F05-013-.577/450 Westley Richards “ZAR” Martini-Henry Rifle Type 2 Carbine

Knox form dated 1897, full-stock to 25″/616mm barrel. Action is marked “Made Specially for ZAR”. This is more properly is desribed as a “short rifle” rather than a carbine and features a front barrel band without bayonet lug. With one exception, all of the recorded models on file are dated 1897. Rifle can be classified as good condition with some loss of finish to barrel and bottom of receiver.
