085A-F01-050-7.92mm Mauser Kar 98 AZ Rifle
Receiver ring marked “Erfurt 1915”. Side of receiver wall marked “Kar 98”. Carbine version of the Gew98. The Germans were required to destroy all but 20 000 of these rifles which were kept for issue to City Police forces. Turned down bolt handle, 24 inch barrel, breech marked “Erfurt 1915”. Straight-grained light coloured walnut. Length of pull 13 inches. Good original condition. Scarce.
