By “Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf A/n” on single square bridge magnum Mauser action. Serial no. 943xx indicates 1926-1927 manufacture. Express sights to 24″ (609mm) barrel. Knurled receiver ring and square rear base, matching numbers to barrel, action and bolt. Triggerguard release to magazine floorplate. Well figured stock with horn fore-end tip, grip cap and solid red Silvers recoil pad. Wrap-around chequering to foreend and grip. Recoil lug fitted, brass reinforcing pin to rear of action. Action displays a small chip above trigger guard which has been professionally repaired. Stock has also been professionally refinished with no undersizing at all. Bore displays some very minor throat erosion immediately ahead of the chamber, good overall. Rifle displays a high % of original blue finish. Good condition.
