Leaf & ladder rear sight, typical Westley Richards styled foresight, 26″ barrel which is marked to “Westley Richards & Co. London”. Barrel is marked to “Parker Wood & Co. Ld. Barberton” who were obviously the retail sellers of the rifle. Wrap-around chequering to fore-end, two panel chequering to butt, three notches cut into grip. Receiver is marked “Deutsche Waffen Und Munitionsfabriken Berlin”. Steel buttplate. Finish has faded to an overall silver grey colour, good working order & condition.
