Rifle is fitted with Schmidt und Bender 6×42 scope on Austrian hook & claw mounts. Receiver of rifle is marked, “Made in Austria Original Mannlicher Schoenauer mod. GK kal. 7×64”. Sidewall of receiver is marked “Steyr- Daimler- Puch A. G. Steyr”. Manufactured 1959, this is widely regarded as one of the best Mannlicher models produced, before they went over to cost- saving plastic & alloy construction. Open sights to 24″ barrel with banded front sight. Low swept bolt, double trigger mechanism, side & leaf safeties. Stock is of classic styling with dark fore-end tips and gripcaps, wrap-around chequering to fore-end, two panel chequering to wrist, shadow line cheekpiece and ventilated Pachmayr White Line recoil pad to butt. Very good plus overall condition.
