078A-C012 – Swiss Faschinenmesser Pioneer Sawback Sword
Pattern M1842. A short sword with single-edged sawback blade of 500mm/19.75″ and marked “Wester & Co. Solingen” alongside a Swiss Cross. Ribbed brass handles with knurled crossguards. Brass mounted leather scabbard with sword hanger. Good original condition. Scarce.
