A type of sword used by the ZAR artillery unit based on the 1821 pattern and then adopted as the SA Army Officers standard sword in 1925. Blade length of 32,75″ with steel scabbard, three-bar hilt with Shagreen covering to hilt. No makers name is evident. Shows some age discolouration but is structurally sound, with all fittings in place.
