104-F06-495 .22lr C.G. Bonehill Martini Rifle

Current bid: R2475,00

This is no doubt one of the many Martini-Henry rifles re-barrelled to .22lr caliber for the British marksmanship drive following the debacle of the Anglo-Boer War. Barrel length of 29,5″ is marked to “C.G. Bonehill-Birmingham”. Built on the later MK4 type action. No original finish to rifle which is now a silver-grey colour. Shortened fore-end. Good bore. Fair to good condition.
