The Remington Model 512 Sportmaster (often stamped Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. to indicate its registered trademarks) is an American-made, vintage bolt-action rimfire rifle.

Caliber: .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle (.22 LR).

Action: Manual bolt-action with a cock-on-opening system.

Feed System: Under-barrel tubular magazine.

Barrel Length: 25″

Sights: Standard open sights consisting of a silver bead post front sight and an elevation-adjustable “U” notch rear sight.

Safety: Manual thumb-lever safety located on the rear right side of the receiver.
