100-F05-427 7x57mm “OVS” Boer Mauser Service Rifle By DWM

Manufactured by DWM for the OVS, the rifles could not be delivered because of the Royal Navy blockade on Lourenco Marques. They were then restamped with the Chilean crest to receiver ring and sold to the Chilean Army. Rifle now carries both Chilean and O.V.S markings. Rifle is in particularly good original condition and includes cleaning rod. (Start Bid : R9500 Hi Estimate: R14500)
