The Sturm, Ruger & Co. M77 (74-prefix, circa 1980) is a classic tang-safety model, tastefully modernised with thumb whole stock for improved ergonomics and stability, controlled grip for precision shooting. The original tang safety has been removed. The rifle is fitted with a Redfield Revenge 3–9×42 scope mounted on extended steel rings.
