Serial number indicates 1929 manufacture. Round 20″ (508mm) barrel, straight grip gumwood stock and smooth slide handle. Very similar to the Mod 1890 rifle, the M1906 was lighter and targeted at the “boys” gun market. Production spanned 1905-1906 through to 1935 and totalled 708 259 rifles. Reinforcing screw to wrist.
