100-D02-140 .45acp Heckler & Koch MK23 “Special Forces” Pistol – Boxed

This is an extremely scarce military model which was developed for military special operation units with a barrel threaded for a suppressor, twelve round magazine capacity and steel slide on a polymer frame. Introduced in 1996. This pistol was reputedly a gift given to the head of the SA special protection unit following the visit to SA of either President Obama or Clinton. Military paperwork is included with the pistol which is a cased unit. Unfortunately neither the issue silencer or Laser Aiming unit were given with the pistol as they were regarded as extremely high tech units in those days. Excellent condition but for the foam packaging in the case which has deteriorated considerably. (Start Bid : R50000 Hi Estimate: R65000)
