The Kral KR556 is a Turkish-manufactured, semi-automatic rifle built on the AR-15 platform. Unlike standard direct-impingement AR-15s, it utilizes a short-stroke piston system, which keeps the action cleaner and more reliable by venting combustion gases away from the receiver.
