095-D02-382 .450 Webley No.5 “New Army Express” 5,5″ Revolver Pre-1898

Frame marked “Webley’s No.5 .476”, topstrap marked “P.Webley & Son Birmingham”, left side of frame carries Webley flying bullet trademark above “W&S”. Ejector rod to side of octagonal 5,5″ (139,70mm) barrel, chequered wooden grips with lanyard ring to butt. A batch of No.5 Webley revolvers were acquired in all probability for the small permanent forces of the OVS, artillery, police and officers. Fairly good overall condition. Plum brown finish to metalwork.
