094-270-9mm Browning Long Webley M1922 Service Pistol
Serial number 147445 identifies this pistol as one of the 1000 pistols ordered by the South African UDF in 1925 at a cost of 72 shilling and three pence, which included a cleaning rod and spare magazine. There was a total of 1893 models of this pistol manufactured of which the Ministry of War in Latvia purchased 100 and the rest were sold commercially. UDF ownership markings to slide. Blued 5″ (127mm) barrel, black chequered hard rubber grips with lanyard ring. High % original gloss blue finish evident. Good to good plus original condition but for missing segment to top of left hand black chequered grip.
