089-F05-660 .44-40 Winchester Model 1873 Sporting Rifle

Manufactured 1880. Forged iron receiver, British proof marks to round barrel of ‏ 24″ (609.6mm) with full-length magazine tube holding fifteen rounds and open sights. Straight grip US walnut stock with crescent iron buttplate. Rifle is complete, with a silver-grey finish overall, woodwork is still in good original condition.
