089-A-003 Honour Goblet Reichsmarine Torpedoboot “V181”

Hallmarked Silver, engraved: “S.M.Tpbt V.181” de commandant Klein 22.Mai.1911 with ship’s mast and pennant. Reichsmarine Torpedoboot ‘V181’ launched 6 November 1909, given to Japan after the war and scrapped 1922. Took part in the aasualt on Moon & Oesel (Baltic islands in the bay of Riga), in support of the amphibious landings known as operation Albion lasting from 12-17 October 1917. As poart of the 15th half flotilla along with V182/3/4/5 falling under control of the 8th flotilla. This cup was secured by the author on Australian auction and is now lsted as being in a private collection in SA.
