Well figured damascus barrels of 29,5″ (742mm) marked to “John Hayton Grahamstown 6308”. Broad top rib has seven folding leaf rear sights and inch graduations for use with a goal post type rear sight. Ebony ramrod with brass tip, scroll engraved locks, hammers, trigger guard and upper tang. Locks are marked to “J. Hayton”. Stock of well figured walnut, has chequering to both wrist and grip with a L.O.P. of 15,25″ over a steel butt plate with German silver escutcheon plate. Stock features a steel patch box with a deer scene engraving to it. All in good to good plus original condition.
